Academics

The St.Joseph School academic programme offers a strong and broad foundation in the field of education. We believe in all round education and to bring out the best in every individual.  School’s extensive curriculum along with its varied approach to teaching, not only prepare our students for good tertiary education but also instills in them a lifelong love of learning.  We aim for rigorous and rewarding education for student, in a supportive environment that encourages them to take on intellectual challenges, explore new academic opportunities and accept responsibility for the choices they make.

We believe that true education is the architecture of the soul awakening a sense of undying curiosity and the desire to achieve. Our primary concern is to prepare and equip young adults for citizenship of the 21st century.

Pre Primary School

Our Kindergarten is inspired by the Play way Montessori Method which is based on the theoretical principle that each child has their ‘own internal guidance’ for ’self-directed’ development. We help children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, cognitive and physical abilities. Play way Montessori is a tool for overall development of a child.

Primary School

Primary school curriculum at St. Joseph opens the door to a more structured phase of schooling. We foster a personalized learning environment that provides a warm and caring atmosphere. Students collaborate constructively, think creatively, reason critically and communicate effectively. The course has been devised primarily keeping the CBSE curriculum and NEP in the forefront. Students work in small changing groups that reflect their interest and inherent abilities.

Middle School

Middle School is a transitory stage between primary and secondary. We aim to provide choice in subject activites and co-curricular activities. This enables Transdisciplinary approach to academics. In Middle School research based activities and independent projects are encouraged.

Secondary School

The Secondary School program aims to meet the academics, social and emotional needs of learners. Our program helps in academic excellence, cultural understanding, social interaction and lifelong learning.
